Anthony & Sons has proven to be the leader in innovation and has transformed the bread-baking industry with their EZ Freezer to Oven® line. We are one of today’s largest suppliers ofbreads and rolls throughout the country, with our 65,000 sq. ft. fully automated production plant & headquarters located in Denville NJ.

OUR HISTORY

Anthony & Sons Bakery is a leader in producing quality, using tradition & passion as the key ingredients.  
1952

Our history goes back from humble beginnings; Anthony Dattolo was born in the city of Alcamo, Sicily. In 1952 Anthony came to Brooklyn, NY. As a young man he embarked upon a career as a baker applying his skills and knowledge from his Italian heritage.

1960

In the early 1960’s Anthony moved to New Jersey with his wife, Rosalia and their four children, Baldassare (Baldo), Joseph, Annette & Nina.

1984

In 1984 Anthony & his two sons joined forces together and Anthony & Sons Italian Bakery was born. Since then, through hard work, perseverance and passion the Dattolo trio became one of the largest fresh baked bread manufactures in the metropolitan region.

2008

Having the ability to deliver the best that Italy has to offer and a Italian legacy both Baldo & Joey opened the first Anthony & Sons Little Italy Bakery- Market- Café in 2008 becoming one of the most renowned café markets in the local area today, which inspired them to open a second location years later.

2014

In 2014 the company started servicing the retail supermarkets and foodservice industry-producing frozen product from their 65,000 sq ft state of the art facility located in Denville NJ.

Today

Today with Anthony & Sons heritage & traditional recipes and process, combined with the latest manufacturing technology, we now deliver our product portfolio across the country, offering the latest trends, best quality, and elite customer service.

Moving forward as one of the pioneers of creating categories like EZ Freezer to Oven® & EZ Ready to Use Thaw & Sell lines, we are proud of our legacy and strive to continue to be the leader within everything we do.
